Sandbox offers an array of quality handmade gifts and cards, all made locally in the northwest.

Most of my watercolor paintings are little "vignettes" of the nature around me, including local birds, local flora and farm animals. These little paintings are then added to collage-style backgrounds, using vintage ephemera from a variety of sources, including my own family's genealogy and postage stamp collection, as well as postcards, ledgers, advertisements and various old papers from all over the world. The cards are then distressed and antiqued using various techniques to create an old-world feel. 

All of the cards are printed on quality heavy cardstock, and are blank inside. Cards can also be customized...if you like a design but would like another message, please email me with the request (minimum of four cards per design for a custom order please).

My jewelry is predominantly inspired by the Victorian period and a French style, as can be seen in the use of dragonflies and birds, and the filigree designs. Brass is one of my favorite metals because of the old-world style it lends to each piece. Please email me if you would like a custom piece or size created just for you (or for a gift!).
