Sandbox Cards and Gifts offers an array of quality handmade jewelry and cards, all made right here in my studio on beautiful Bainbridge Island in Washington state.

My jewelry is predominantly inspired by the Victorian period and a French style, as can be seen in the use of dragonflies and birds, and the filigree designs. Oxidized silver and brass are my favorite metals because of the old-world style they lend to each piece. Enjoy!

My watercolor paintings are little "vignettes" of the nature around me, including local birds, local flora and farm animals. These paintings are then added to collage-style backgrounds, using vintage ephemera from a variety of sources, including my own family's genealogy and postage stamp collection, as well as postcards, ledgers, advertisements and various old papers from all over the world. The cards are then distressed and antiqued using various techniques to create an old-world feel. All cards are printed on quality heavy cardstock, and are blank inside.
